Saab 2000: Exterior Model Nears Completion
The Saab 2000’s exterior model is now 80% complete, with attention currently focused on refining key details. Work is being finalized on the engine nacelles, propellers, belly-mounted landing lights, and other missing features. Following this, the team will prioritize the landing gear, particularly its unique wheels, which differ significantly from those of the Saab 340.
Once these steps are complete, development will shift toward exporting the exterior model into the simulator for initial testing and integrating it with the flight model. The team’s meticulous approach ensures accuracy and authenticity for virtual pilots eagerly awaiting this aircraft.
Saab 340: Testing and Interior Development Underway
The Saab 340 is making impressive strides. Its exterior model has been successfully exported into the simulator and is currently undergoing rigorous tests and early flight model development. Simultaneously, the development of its interior is in progress.
The texturing for the Saab 340’s exterior is approximately 95% finished, with the final touches on the landing gear underway. Once completed, the focus will shift to developing the cockpit’s instruments and fine-tuning the flight model. With such steady progress, the Saab 340 is quickly shaping up to be a standout addition to the virtual skies.
